Frisky Pups Bed and Breakfast

Frisky Pups Bed and Breakfast

Frisky Pups Bed and Breakfast is a cozy guest house in a birch forest,  situated about 18 miles east of Fairbanks  in an area known as Two Rivers. We live in a secluded forest of birch and spruce trees with a view of Fairbanks. The Two Rivers area is well known for easy access to aurora viewing, sled dog rides and ice fishing.

Prepare to be immersed in the Alaskan dog mushing experience. Gaze out the living room window of our two story, one bedroom guest house and watch twenty Huskies in our dog yard as they play. Get to know them during a daily tour.

You’ll have complete access to our guest house, located in a spruce and birch forest, next to our dog yard. Decorated with dog mushing memorablia, it includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a shower, bathroom with washer and dryer, queen bed in the bedroom, and a standard sized futon upstairs which is capable of sleeping two people.

We have wireless Internet suitable for email and social media, but it’s too slow for video streaming. A tv is available for watching DVD’s. We have a nice collection of videos about Alaska.

Regardless of when you visit, you can tour of our dog yard and get to know our twenty or so sled dogs. We also have miles of trails in the area for hiking in the summer or x-c skiing in the winter.

Since we’re both retired, we will be at home  most of the time so that we can introduce you to our dogs and share stories about life in Alaska.

We are kid friendly for ages 10 and up. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER US IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE LESS THAN 10. We have twenty-four sled dogs in a pen about 30 feet from the guest house. Although they are all friendly, we are concerned about the welfare of younger children around the dogs.

Combine your winter visit with a sled dog ride or take a ride behind the dogs on an ATV during our fall training season.
